Care for students has been a guiding star for Central Baptist for many years. The first hostel opened in 1948, providing accommodation for Christian students in Wellington. Over the years there have been ebbs and flows, and 2025 saw another ebb. The financial reality contributed to the tough decision to close Central House, which was our current hostel.
We’re excited and prayerful to see where God will lead us next.
