2017 is the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. On 31 October 1517 Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. That action started a chain of events which shaped the course of the church and the course of Western civilization, in a way that is still significant today. Over the next few weeks, we will consider the historical context that prompted Luther’s protest, the impact of the reformation on church and society and invite reflection on what needs reforming in the church and in our own lives today. Our text is from Ephesians 2:4-10
