Today we continue our series on Jeremiah – God’s Prophet, God’s Person. Stuck in prison, with Jerusalem surrounded by the Babylonian army, Jeremiah does something really unusual; he buys a field in his home town of Anathoth.  Why would he do such a thing when he is unlikely to ever live on it and has no descendants to pass it to?  What might God be wanting to say to the people of Jerusalem and to us today through this strange event?
