Matthew 16:21-26

Today we continue with our Lenten series ‘Follow Me: the Cost of Following Christ’. We’ll explore some conversations, recorded in the gospels, where Jesus challenges people to consider what it really means to be a disciple or follower of Christ.

This morning we follow on from Peter’s declaration of Jesus as the Messiah and hear Jesus’ explanation of what it means to be a Messiah who will suffer and die and who invites those who follow him to take up their cross and die to self.  We will be looking at Matthew 16:21-26.
