Exodus 20:1-17

Today we continue our series on Exodus: The Forming of the People of God. This morning we look at the covenant God established with the people of Israel as they gathered at the foot of Mt Sinai. The covenant gave them an identity as God’s people, and in covenant God promised that he would be faithful to them. God promised to bless the people so that they would be a blessing to others. What does it mean for us to be God’s people in our context? What identifies us as the people of God?
