Today, we begin a four-week series on Environment and Faith. We will be drawing on the resources of A Rocha Aotearoa (www.arocha.org.nz) as we consider how Christian faith mandates us to be stewards of creation. We’ll be looking at issues around water, creation care, climate change and food. During the series, we’ll have a service facilitated by the Junior Youth Group, and we’ll also welcome Pene Burton Bell representing A Rocha Wellington.
This morning, we look at the resource of water; we’ll consider the spiritual significance of water in the Biblical story and reflect on how the world’s water resource is under threat, and what action can be taken to care for water.
