This evening from 7 – 8pm, Elliot will host a “Service of Shadows” in the church basement. Also known as a Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows” or “darkness”) service, our gathering will involve a gradual extinguishing of candles along with readings from the passion narratives, and will end in silence and darkness in anticipation of Christ’s crucifixion on Good Friday. We’ll celebrate the Last Supper along the way. Please do join us if you are able, as we share in Jesus’ Via Dolorosa (“the way of the sorrow”).
